Save Sierra Leone Foundation is a registered 501c(3) non-profit entity.

Save Sierra Leone Foundation (SSLF) is a portal for individuals and  organizations to collaborate, promote, fund and implement Educational, Healthcare and Poverty alleviation programs in Sierra Leone.

ORGANIZATIONS
In general SSLF seeks to support those organizations in the USA or elsewhere, with both appealing projects and strong management teams, already engaged in the early phase of philanthropic ventures in Sierra Leone.  In considering potential candidates to support, SSLF evaluates such factors as:

  • The fit of the potential project within SSLF's existing scope, particularly whether the project falls within one of its three areas of operations.

  • Whether the candidate provides, in management's view, a superior potential for growth and success amongst competing projects

  • The terms under which the project's management team is prepared to work with SSLF.

INDIVIDUALS

SSLF also supports the efforts of individuals, pursuing programs or career activities that help create international awareness about conditions in Sierra Leone. SSLF will conduct the necessary due diligence to ensure that the individual’s program will positively contribute either towards improving education, enhancing healthcare or providing benefits to a specific destitute or underprivileged segment of Sierra Leoneans. Candidates for such collaboration for example, include individuals engaged in the performing arts, sports and music as well as individuals involved in any industry capable of creating jobs for Sierra Leoneans.
